PDF

Merge, split, protect and transform your PDF files without leaving your browser.

What it is for

PDF was invented so a document would look the same on any computer, printer or screen. That success made it the standard format for public administration, contracts and invoices, but it came with a trade-off: designed to preserve layout rather than to be edited, it turns any minor change into a job for a dedicated tool.

And those minor changes are constant. Merging the annexes to an application, keeping three pages out of a report, rotating a scan that went in crooked, adding the page numbers a court requires. None of it warrants a two-hundred-euro program or a monthly subscription, yet for years that was the only convenient option.

Every tool in this section runs inside your browser. The PDF is not uploaded anywhere: it is processed on your own machine with JavaScript and the result downloads directly. For documents holding personal data, payslips or medical information, that is the difference that actually matters.

Which tool do I need

I have several PDFs and want just one
Use Merge PDF. It combines them in the order you add them, without recompressing or losing quality.
I need to break a document into parts
Split PDF creates one file per page range you specify. If instead you want a single file with selected pages, use Extract pages.
The scan came out crooked or out of order
Rotate PDF turns the whole document at once. If only some pages are wrong, Organise PDF lets you rotate, move and delete page by page.
I have photos and they are asking for a PDF
JPG to PDF turns each image into a page, matching its size and orientation.
I want to copy the text out of a document
PDF to text extracts all of it, provided the PDF is not a scan. If it is an image, you would need optical character recognition.
They require numbered pages
Number PDF adds the figure at the foot of each page. Always do it last, after merging or reordering.

Frequently asked questions

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?

No. All these tools process the file inside your browser with JavaScript. You can check by disconnecting from the internet before pressing Process: they will keep working.

Is there a size or file count limit?

The tool imposes none. The real limit is the memory available in your browser, so very large documents may take a few seconds.

Can I edit the text of a PDF here?

No. These tools work on the document structure (pages, orientation, order), not on the content. Rewriting text would need a full PDF editor.

Does it work with password-protected PDFs?

No. An encrypted PDF cannot be opened without the key, and these tools include no decryption.
